The Lost City of Atlantis

The city of Alantis had huge stone buildings with columns. There were a lot of statues and it had a lot of white buildings and a lot of trees.

There were slaves in Atlantis. They had to live on the other side of the city from the rich people. Back then the slaves had to live in very small house. The children of the slaves would live in the small village too and these children would become slaves when they grew up as well.

The legend says that Zeus didn’t like that the people of Atlantis were being greedy so for their punishment Zeus destoryed their city.

More likely, Atlantis disappeared at the end of the Pleistocene ice age. The volcano which Atlantis sat upon erupted and a lot of people who lived on Atlantis died from the eruption of the volcano. Did you know that the lost city of Atlantis was the top of a under water volcano that erupted? It was a very big volcano that killed a lot of people. My research says it killed at least 9000 people when the lost city went down.


Has it ever came to your mind that there is a lost city underneath our waters some where out there because I think about it all the time and a lot of questions come to my head about this amazing city. It's awesome, its amazing, it’s the lost city of Atlantis.

The Last Stand of the Spartans

Did you know?:That the king of the Spartans name was king Leonidas. He was in the last stand of the Spartans against the Persians.

Did you know?:That the Persians tried to take over Greeks,the Greeks put away their differences and fought together against their enemy the Persians. The Spartans,Athenian,and Thermapalis teamed up against the strongest empire at the time. They were no doubt outnumbered by the Persians by thousands. The battle even went onto sea terrain with the Athenian warships that looked like Viking ships but without the dragon head. Even on sea, they were outnumbered by thousands. Their strategy was to ram into the side of the Persian ships to sink them in the sea battle.

Did you know?:That the Spartans had the strategy of using a cliff side as their last stand because it is hard for the Persians to take over the cliff, but easier for the Spartans because of their strategy. The sea battle strategy probably garenteed the Spartans' victory even if the Persians had more men. Soon they marched up to get the rest of them out of their land by threatening them with force of power not words. Soon their king got killed and the Persians got killed or moved out.
In the big victory the Spartans won because of their weopons and armour, their training, their strategy, the terrain, and the goodwill of defending their homeland.

• Did you know they started building the leaning tower in 1173 and finshed in 1350 that is 177 years it took them to make it.
• The architect realized that the building could not be straightend in 1275.
• The original architect who messed up the leaning building of pisa was Bonanno Pisano.
• Did you know that the Leaning Tower of Pisa is the third wonder of the world.
• The reason the Leaning Tower started leaning was because it was made on clay ground which shifted it.
• The Leaning Tower of Pisa was made in Italy.
• When Madame Woodstock was a kid she went to the top of the Leaning Tower but now people are not allowed
• Did you know that Galileo dropped two balls from the top of the Leaning Tower. One ball was 10 pounds and another that was 1 pound. They fell at the same speed and this is how gravity was discovered.
